Hey All-
We are so excited to be playing a string of shows in New York City over thanksgiving weekend this year once again! On Wednesday Nov. 26 we will be playing at the beloved Bitter End at 9:30 PM. Join us at the Bitter End as we always love to play at one of the sweetest clubs in NYC. On Saturday Nov. 29 at 11 PM we will make our debut at one of the newest hot bars in New York, the National Underground. Both shows will surely be awesome as they are our first since August. Speaking of the summer, we have released a brand new original live track and two covers from our show at the Jones Beach Band Shell which took place on Aug. 29 when we opened for Almost Queen. Hey Everyone,
Tauk will be revisiting an old stomping ground this Friday (8/8) as we return to Da Funky Phish at Bayshore, Long Island. Our headline set will begin at 11 pm, but will be preceeded by sets from our good friends, The Headie Berrie and The Test Dream at 9 and 10 pm, respectively. Cover charge is $5. Da Funky Phish is one of our favorite venues to play on the island due to its laid back yet energetic atmosphere. With the summer slowly winding down, we are planning on making Friday quite a party. The festival is a great way to catch some live music featuring groups from the surrounding areas as well as more nationally recognized acts such as The Mickey Hart Band. Tauk is really glad to be writing, recording and playing
so much music together right now. As many of you already
know we have a great summer tour lined up and are also
working in the studio this summer. We have some new songs

It was announced today that Long Island’s own TAUK (www.taukrocks.com),
who came back in great form this summer making their highly anticipated return
to the east coast hitting cities from Boston to NYC to Philadelphia, has been given
a prime slot at The 12th Annual Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport Connecticut
on Saturday August 11th from 1:15pm until 2:00pm. They will be sharing the stage
with the likes of The Wailers, George Clinton and P-Funk, Dickey Betts and many
other nationally renowned recording artists in what is sure to be a truly amazing
listening and viewing experience for all.

Seaside Park is conveniently located off exit 27 of Interstate 95. Just seconds
from downtown Bridgeport, the park is adjacent to the University of Bridgeport
campus, offering stunning views of Long Island Sound.

Directions to Seaside Park - Bridgeport, CT
Southbound: Take I-95 South to exit 27 Lafayette Boulevard. Take University of
Bridgeport/Transportation Center ramp. Stay straight on South Avenue 0.2 miles.
Turn left onto Park Avenue.
Northbound: Take I-95 North to exit 27 Lafayette Boulevard/Downtown. Stay straight
0.1 miles and turn right onto Myrtle Avenue. Turn right onto Railroad Avenue, 0.1 miles.

For the past few summers, Tauk has been one of the most played, talked about and
written about bands in the northeast United States. They have already gained video
play on Fuse TV for a special On Demand program and on the local "Jerry & Louise
Music Show", and their music has aired on NYC’s Q104.3, Long Island’s 102.3
WBAB, and 107.1 WLIR. They are also currently in rotation on many college stations
including WRHU, WCWP and WUSB. They were also covered in a "WithThe Band"
feature for Newsday and graced the front cover of Good Times Magazine as the "Local
Spotlight" story; their CD "Ride" was also reviewed in Long Island Press. These articles
serve as the highlights of their press coverage, but are in addition to the many overwhelmingly
positive webzine and internet site reviews they also received in the past few years.

Hey everyone, this is Charlie from Tauk.
We have been working hard practicing for this next wave of shows coming up and we hope you will join us. Starting Wednesday July 11th we will be playing five shows over five nights beginning at The Funky Phish, then heading over to Boston to play the Paradise Lounge on the 12th. This will be our first time playing in Boston and we plan to put on a good show. After that we head back to NYC to Play Kenny’s Castaways with and extended set, then to Long Island for two more shows in Patchogue at the Great South Bay Festival and then we open up for Colin Hay from Men at Work at the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Everybody’s TAUK’in about the hottest band in New York
Oyster Bay, NY (July 17th, 2006)
Staying in the headlines and on the stage, Long Island’s own jam/funk/rock band Tauk (http://www.myspace.com/tauk) will be performing this Friday night at Living Room Lounge in Brooklyn. This has been the end of an amazing week for the Tauk camp; they were featured in a "With The Band" article by Newsday’s Rafer Guzman, played a spectacular show at Eisenhower Park for Nassau County, were added to Sunday rotation at WLIR and THE Bone Radio on the east end of Long Island and will be played this Sunday night at 9pm on New York City based Q104 Radio’s "Out Of The Box" program with Jonathan Clarke. And, as we announced last week, they will also be the subject of a special interview and live performance piece taped by the FUSE music television network (http://www.fuse.tv) on Saturday July 29th during their show at The Aqua Lounge in Glen Cove. The show is set to air sometime in October and will be the inaugural segment of a new on demand program at the network.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: LI’S OWN TAUK FEATURED ON FUSE TV ON DEMAND "UNDISCOVERED"

It was announced today that Long Island’s own jam/funk/rock band Tauk (http://www.myspace.com/tauk) will be the subject of a special interview and live performance piece taped by the FUSE music television network (http://www.fuse.tv/) on Saturday July 29th during their show at The Aqua Lounge in Glen Cove. The show is set to air sometime in October and will be the inaugural segment of a new on demand program at the network. "We’re extremely excited to be working with FUSE" said Tauk Lead singer Alessandro Zanelli. He continued, "They have really built a reputation of getting behind up and coming acts, and we are pleased to add to the tradition". FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: LOCAL OYSTER BAY OUTFIT - ’TAUK - ANNOUNCE SUMMER TOUR OF THE ISLAND(S)
Oyster Bay, NY (June 4th 2006)
Long Island has always had a robust and thriving music scene covering almost every genre you can think of. It’s spent the better part of five decades giving the world acts such as Mariah Carey, Public Enemy, Pat Benetar, Twisted Sister, Harry Chapin and hundreds more (it even has it’s our own Music Hall Of Fame).
Now, in the words of another amazing, and maybe the most famous musician from those parts (by the name of Billy Joel) comes a band "from a town called Oyster Bay, Long Island" who seem intent on adding themselves to the roll call of success in the most fertile music scene in the world: ’TAUK
The band’s name is derived from a place that most Long Islanders call "The End" - Montauk, LI - but this tour is only the beginning for these music school trained performance virtuosos.
